Blue Milk & Cereal: Which Origin World Do You Like Best?

No day would be complete without the breakfast of Jedi: Blue Milk & Cereal.  Every morning, the team at Ask A Jedi will get Force-induced thoughts coursing through your head with delicious issues from around the galaxy! Join in the discussion below to make your voice heard!

This is a monumental edition of Blue Milk & Cereal. Why? It’s the first time we can ask a question about the game that I know each and every one of you has an opportunity to answer!

This weekend is of course the big, “open” beta weekend for Star Wars: The Old Republic, where everyone finally has a chance to try out TOR for the first time.  Additionally, the NDA drop last week allowed fans to get a closer look from all of the beta videos and live streams. Odds are by now, you have either played or watched some portion of the origin world story from a particular class!

With that in mind, and assuming that you indeed have seen the some or all of the origin worlds, we want to know which one is your favorite. Is it Tython with its Flesh Raiders and Jedi artifacts? Is it Hutta; a wretched hive of scum and villainy? Korriban and its dark, mysterious secrets? Or the war-torn landscape of Ord Mantell? Let us know!

Which origin world is your favorite?

Diplomatically Immune: The Seekers of Knowledge

I’ve always loved the idea of the Jedi Consular, the wise keeper of knowledge. She is not a warrior by trade, but rather one when necessary, a sage far more interested in understanding the problem then charging head in.

When I found out that they could tank, which is my favorite MMO position, and could be Twi’lek, my favorite race, I immediately decided that the Consular was going to be the class that I started with. So when I finally got into the beta, that was the first character that I created. I fell in love which the character, the story, the abilities, the animation, and the style.

Jedi Knight Play-through – Sixty Minutes, Full 1080P!

Our buddies and partners over at TGN TV just keep on delivering the SW:TOR goods. They produce the highest-quality videos we’ve seen, and now that they’re able to show us the in-game stuff, it’s only going to get better!

This is a long play through (over an hour straight) of the Jedi Knight class on their origin world of Tython, and we’re provided with smart commentary and analysis along the way. It should go without saying, but I’ll mention it anyway: this footage might contain some serious story spoilers, so watch at your own peril! (But watch it, because it’s awesome!)

Don’t forget, we partner with TGN each week to provide the latest news in high-def video style, so check out SWTOR Weekly when you can!

Facebook Image of The Week #27

While some things may have changed on Facebook today, one thing that didn’t change was BioWare’s committment to tossing us a new screenshot on Wednesdays!

This one came a little later than usual, but better late than never. This time, a shot of a Twi’lek Jedi on Tython fighting a large muppet Guid:
